If the DefaultName or DefaultDomainName in the same registry path contain an administrator account name and the DefaultPassword contains a value, this is a CAT I finding.
Fix Text (F-69481r1_fix)
This is the default configuration for this setting (Disabled).

If this needs to be corrected, configure the policy value for Computer Configuration >> Administrative Templates >> MSS (Legacy) >> "MSS: (AutoAdminLogon) Enable Automatic Logon (not recommended)" to "Disabled".

This policy setting requires the installation of the MSS-Legacy custom templates included with the STIG package. "MSS-Legacy.admx" and " MSS-Legacy.adml" must be copied to the \Windows\PolicyDefinitions and \Windows\PolicyDefinitions\en-US directories respectively.

Ensure no passwords are stored in the "DefaultPassword" registry value noted below.

Registry Hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Registry Path: \SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\

Value Name: DefaultPassword
